6.35 and 6.20 Downgrader (Latest version: R1) Latest Release

Sony, being as sneaky as they are decided to do a rather interesting move. As researched by Coyotebean, Sony started enforcing using a public key method of verifying KIRK data and removing the ability to load the old types of data. As they did this, firmware 6.30+ cannot decrypt the updater and the PRX inside and therefore cannot use the index.dat spoofing to downgrade.
This application does the simple job of rebooting into the updater with a PRX that allows the updater to decrypt. A PRX that uses the pspdecrypt source and index.dat spoofing, nothing fancy.

So, I’ll stop blabering, here is the Readme:

6.35/6.31 -> 6.20 Downgrader By Davee

[What does it do?]
Allows users who are incontent with their firmware to downgrade to 6.20 using the Sony Updater.

[How do I use it?]
Copy the "PSP" folder to your PSP. The downgrader is "signed" and can be launched from OFW XMB. You need to copy the 6.20 update to PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP and for PSPgo it must be the eflash it is placed on. After setup run the downgrader and follow the onscreen instructions.

[What does it technically do?]
It uses the utility/power exploit to gain kernel access and reboots into the updater with a special PRX running. This PRX uses the pspdecrypt functionality to decrypt the updater PRX when needed. This allows the updater to boot in the newer firmwares.

[I'm a dev, sup?]
The source is in the SRC folder... if you even read this. Use the source for referencing, updating, snipping etc, remember where you got it from. Also, there is a HBL Sukkiri version, see the "Makefile" for info on the various modes, etc

If you’re too lazy to read it then basically, you copy over the PSP folder to your PSP and put the 6.20 update to “PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP”.

Unlimited Character Version and Mac Address Spoofer (Latest version: v3)

[What is this?]
This is a spoofer (aka faker) for the information found in the XMB->Settings->System Settings->System Information. This version supports the firmwares of 5.00 and 5.02 and includes spoofing of both System Version and Mac Address. So you can personalize the XMB Information for whatever you need, including your own imaginary "8.32342 0xDEADBEEF" firmware and matching mac address.

[Install]
Copy the "sysconf_spoofer.prx" to the "seplugins" folder on your MEMORY STICK and add a line to vsh.txt (or create one within seplugins folder) and add the line "ms0:/seplugins/sysconf_spoofer.prx 1" and then make a "spoofversion.txt" and/or a "spoofmac.txt" in seplugins folder. Within these, write your hearts desire; with either ascii (normal text) or Unicode* (special characters). Reboot your PSP, and be amazed at your system information.

[What it does?]
ChickHEN works as a homebrew enabler for all PSP models (1000, 2000 and 3000) and allows execution of homebrew games and apps on 5.03 Official firmware. It can allow you to play games such as Bugz!, Jellycar or run apps such as pspfiler and PSPTube. Homebrew enhances the experience of a normal PSP without any faulty side-effects.

[What it does not do?]
- Run ISO, CSO or any other form of UMD backup.
- Run PSX Games
- Touch The Flash of your beloved PSP
- Magically allow the use of Custom Firmware (on TA-088v3 or PSP 3000)
- Load plugins

[How do I use it?]
Depending on your PSP Model, you're going to need a specific tiff image. If you have a Phat (1000) PSP, use the tiff image supplied in the "PHAT" folder and copy it to ms0:/PSP/PHOTO. Else copy the tiff image in the "SLIM" folder to ms0:/PSP/PHOTO. After you've copied the image to your PSP, you can copy the h.bin supplied to the root of the memorystick (ms0:/). This should be sufficient for PSP to reboot into ChickHEN.

[Can it break my PSP?]
ChickHEN works differently to all previous HEN's. Instead of flashing to flash0, it resides entirely in RAM to prevent any damage to the system. Sure enough, you can run applications in HEN to flash stuff but I strongly recommend against it. ChickHEN comes with no warrenty, no guanantee and you run this software under your own responsibility. Flashing onto your PSP WILL BRICK IT!!

As stated, HEN comes with no warrenty, and this software should not be used in conjunction with homebrew which can countervent any copyright laws.

RCO Patcher (Latest version: v1)

What can I say? You activate it, create a folder at memorystick root called "RCOS", and hope that next boot it'll redirect all RCO reading from that folder (Don't worry, if file doesn't exit it will load from flash0 ;))

CTF Extractor for PC (Latest version: v1)

This will extract the contents of a CTF and repatch the vshmain, paf and common_gui to the original prx state.

Descramble Patcher (Latest version: v1)

This release is mainly targeted at theme developers more than normal users, but they can use it if they wish. This plugin allows to patch modules on-the-fly with the scrambles in ms0:/scrambles/*. Using this allows quick turn around times for finding values in the scrambles. You can simply just modify it from the memory stick rather than descramble it from the prx, apply edit, rescramble and then flashing it.
